On Monday, March 14 contributors Bineta (Book One), Nwe (Book One) and Siobhan (Book Two) will join me as one of the opening panel discussions of the 60th annual session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of women. This is truly an honor to be invited to speak at the United Nations alongside the women who made both books possible! We have chosen to address social entrepreneurship and spearhead a discussion on global solutions to end violence against women and encourage grassroots empowerment across all cultures and communities through creative, sustainable means of funding. Our panel proudly covers all major world regions in its diverse representation of women and will serve to expand discussions on some of the most pertinent topics contained the the stories in both books.
